AVFD is active in public demonstrations regarding fire safety and fire prevention.  The reason for these demonstrations is to educate the community about these matters and to reduce the amount of fires that could have been prevented. 

Currently the major demonstrations AVFD is working on are the School Demonstrations.  AVFD also participates in local parades, individual demonstrations, and station tours upon request.
