School Demonstrations

October is Fire Prevention Month and AVFD is extremely active in demonstrations at our local schools.  During a school demonstration fire fighters perform skits to entertain while they are educating the students about fire safety and fire prevention. 

Fire fighters interact with the students and the teachers to provide an enjoyable experience for all who participate.
