Eighteen EMT Students Advance Despite Pandemic Challenges

Due to COVID-19, traditional skills training and testing is not possible using traditional methods.

Using the most current data on COVID, AFD was able to help their EMT students to complete one of the last steps needed to obtain their National Registry Certification as EMT's.

Members of AFD worked hard to get these students the training and skills verification they needed to be able to get into the healthcare workforce despite the restrictions placed on training by COVID-19.

All of the 18 students present successfully completed all of their skills verifications and are now eligible to take the last step to obtain their provisional certification.
