EMT PROGRAM FAQ’s
Class times:
The class is held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm – 10 pm.
Saturday classes (2 a month) are from 8am-5pm
Criminal background check:
Certain criminal backgrounds are prohibited from becoming an EMT. For more information see:

What can you do with EMT?
You can work in various EMS settings such as 911, private transport, safety teams and other.
You can also work in ER’s and clinics.

How much does the course cost?
The tuition is $1500, due by the first day of class.
This fee includes your textbook, clinical uniform shirts and electronic resources.
What are the requirements / prerequisites?
- You must have a high school diploma or GED
- Pass a criminal background check
- Provide verification of immunizations:
- Hepatitis B vaccination (at least started)
- MMR
- Varicella
- Tetanus
- TB test (<6 months old)
- Current Flu vaccination
- Pass a drug test
